Jei svarstote apie dovaną, vietoje daiktų labiausiai vertintume Jūsų indėlį į mūsų bendras svajones – medaus mėnesio kelionę.
If you are considering a gift, instead of material things, we would truly appreciate your contribution to our shared dream – our honeymoon trip.
We recommend booking your flight tickets in advance while prices are still favorable.
Direct flights to Vilnius from Norway are available from Oslo Gardermoen airport with Ryanair and Norwegian airlines – the most budget-friendly option is usually Ryanair. If you are flying from Torp, AirBaltic also operates flights to Vilnius.
Vilnius Airport is located within the city, making it easy to reach the city center by public transport or taxi (Bolt, Uber – we recommend having the apps installed).
For guests arriving from abroad, transportation will be provided from Vilnius to the villa on the wedding day, and on Saturday morning, after breakfast, a bus will be available back to Vilnius. Please indicate in the RSVP form if you will need transportation on that day.
Additionally, if you are a guest traveling from Lithuania and have available seats in your car, and would be willing to take one or two other guests to or from the villa, please let us know in the RSVP form.
RSVP anketoje prašome nurodyti, ar Jums reikės nakvynės, nes vilos teritorijoje vietų skaičius yra ribotas. Jei reikės pagalbos ieškant alternatyvių apgyvendinimo variantų, mielai padėsime!
Please indicate in the RSVP form if you need accomodation from Friday - Saturday. We will strive to get accomodation for all guests coming from abroad. Accomodation in the villa is limited, but there are hotels close by, and we will assist with booking to the best of our ability. Transportation between the villa to the hotel is best by Bolt or Uber.
For accomodation before and after the wedding we recommend a hotel in Vilnius. We are currently talking to a couple hotels in Vilnius to inquire about possible discounts. Write to us in the comments area in the RSVP form if you are interested.
We chose to celebrate our wedding on a Friday so that everyone can fully enjoy the weekend!
On Saturday, we will leave the villa after breakfast, so you'll have time to explore Vilnius on Saturday afternoon and evening, and possibly even on Sunday morning, depending on your flight.
Vilnius is a charming city, rich in history and modernity, where Gothic, Baroque, and contemporary architecture blend harmoniously. It is one of the greenest capitals in Europe, full of parks, picturesque Old Town streets (the Old Town is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List), and a vibrant artistic scene.
P.S. NRK has included Lithuania in its list of must-visit destinations this summer!
Druskininkai is a charming and tranquil resort town just two hours from Vilnius, renowned for its mineral waters, SPA centers, and natural beauty. One of its most popular attractions is Grūtas Park, an open-air exhibition featuring Soviet-era sculptures and insights into Lithuania’s history. Druskininkai offers activities all year round, including Snow Arena, the only indoor ski arena in the Baltics operating year-round. Visitors can also explore the M. K. Čiurlionis Museum to learn about Lithuania’s most famous artist.
August in Lithuania is warm, with temperatures around 16–24°C. Expect sunny days with occasional rain. Light, breathable clothing is best—avoid heavy fabrics and layers.
Lithuania, like Norway, is not only known for grocery stores on every corner but also for its abundance of beauty salons. Beauty services can be booked through Watalook. If you need assistance, please indicate it in the RSVP comments section.
P.S. Anette, Ann-Christin, Kari, Sissel, and Roberta already have appointments.
